Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of the website bewsltd.co.uk (the "Site") operated by BEWS Ltd ("BEWS", "we", "us" or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16077229, whose registered office is at Wallows Lane, Walsall, WS1. By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Use of the Site

The Site is provided for general information about BEWS, our commercial building-envelope products and services, and to enable you to make an enquiry or request a quotation. You may use the Site for lawful business purposes only. You agree not to misuse the Site, including attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing viruses or malicious code, scraping or harvesting content, or using the Site in a way that disrupts its operation or infringes the rights of others.

3. Enquiries and Quotations

Submitting an enquiry or request for quotation through the Site does not constitute a contract. Any quotation issued by BEWS is an invitation to treat and remains valid for the period stated on it (or, if none is stated, for 30 days from the date of issue). A binding contract for the supply of goods or services comes into existence only when BEWS accepts your order in writing under our standard conditions of sale, which will be provided with any quotation. These Terms do not govern any subsequent contract for the supply of goods or services; that contract is governed by the BEWS conditions of sale applicable at the time of order.

4. Information Accuracy

We take reasonable care to ensure the information on the Site — including product specifications, performance data, sector guidance and compliance references — is accurate at the time of publication. However, technical specifications, standards and regulations change, and information is provided for general guidance only. It does not constitute professional advice or a warranty as to the suitability of any product for a particular application. You should always confirm current specifications and compliance requirements with our technical team before relying on them for design or procurement decisions.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, CAD drawings, technical details and layout — is owned by BEWS or its licensors and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may view and download content for your own internal business use in connection with potential projects with BEWS. You may not reproduce, republish, redistribute or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.

6. Third-Party Links and Content

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and references to third-party systems, standards or certification bodies (for example, system manufacturers, British Standards, BREEAM or Building Regulations). Such links and references are provided for convenience and information only. BEWS has no control over and accepts no responsibility for the content or availability of third-party sites, and inclusion of a reference does not imply endorsement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BEWS accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content, including any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of anticipated savings. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Your Information and Privacy

Any personal information you provide through the Site (for example, via an enquiry or quote form) is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please read our Privacy Policy for details of how we collect, use and protect your data.

9. Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate and to understand how the site is used. For details of the cookies we use and how to manage them, please see our Cookie Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after any change indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Contact

If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact us at BEWS Ltd, Wallows Lane, Walsall, WS1, by telephone on 0121 796 0177, or by email at david@bewsltd.co.uk.

These Terms are drafted as a starting point for BEWS Ltd and should be reviewed by a solicitor before being relied upon. They do not form part of any contract for the supply of goods or services, which are governed by the BEWS conditions of sale issued with each quotation.
